Guatemala & Belize

Guatemala is the Mayan heart of Central America, and the ruins of Tikal are a magnificent testament to this. There are other charms too, such as the colonial city of Antigua and the lively market of Chichicastenango, not to mention the awesome volcanoes. Neighbouring Belize has landscapes that range from mountainous rainforests to coastal wetlands and tiny coral cays. Its relaxed Caribbean beaches are a great combination with a Guatemalan adventure.
